Opening Chest Camera


In this version of my level, I have not yet created an opening chest and a key, but this camera would be used to show the character acquiring the key out of the chest. This is a static camera that frames the corridor with the chest as the main focus of the shot. By having the chest in the front of the shot and the character behind it, it makes the chest look bigger. I am using this camera technique to emphasise the chest - by doing this I am signalling to the player that it is something important. They are much more likely to try to interact with the camera like this, than if there was nothing to emphasise that it is important.
