The idea that I want to research for my report is the ethics of realism in games.

There is a lot to explore with this topic, and the realism in games has been blamed for a lot of things in society, good and bad, from crimes to making better surgeons. I want to explore why, what and how realism in games effects how people act outside of games, and try and answer the age old question of Realism vs Surrealism - which makes a better gaming experience?

My current working title is 'The Ethics of Realism in Games'. This title is blunt and simple and tells the reader straight away what the report will be about.
