High To Low Poly Bake Within The Industry

High to Low Poly Bake is a regularly used technique in the industry. In games with a lot of models, leaving all the models as high poly models would make the game difficult to run and would limit the amount of systems that the game would work on. Creating low poly models means that games can run smoothly and increase the amount of models that can be in a scene.
