Okolina Environment Moodboard
This is my moodboard for the environment in the city of Okolina.
Okolina is the last city that the player visits in the game. While the other cities are very metropolis-like, Okolina is much greener: it is the last place in the game world where the natural environment hasn't been completely destroyed.
Okolina is going to be filled with nature - huge trees, waterfalls, huge fields and lots of wold animals. The buildings will be made out of the natural environment - so wood in the trees, or made from the rock near the cliffs.
The collection of images that I have here for my moodboard are taken from a variety of places. The image on the top right is from a forest town in Tales of Symphonia. Bottom left is a scene from Skyrim. Top left and bottom right are artist depictions, with the top left showing a futuristic city built into the forest environment, and the bottom right showing buildings that look like they have been taken over by nature, with trees growing on top of them, the houses almost becoming the roots. The image on the far left is an image of a real tree-house - I would like to create tree-houses like that for my level. I would want Okolina to be a mix of all these images.
